6- 13 years of age can volunteer with a parent or guardian
14-15 years of age can volunteer independently with appropriate forms signed by a parent or guardian
16-17 years of age can volunteer independently with a signed waiver form from parents
18+ are welcome to volunteer with a signed waiver form from themselves

An orientation is required prior to any volunteering
A waiver form must be completed
A commitment of 12 hours per month

At the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown, we welcome individuals seeking to complete community service hours. We evaluate requests on a case-by-case basis, but please note that we do not accept individuals with convictions involving any type of assault. Our primary focus is on maintaining a safe and positive environment for both our animals and volunteers.

We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours from Tuesday through Friday from 11- 5 p.m. or Saturday from 11 - 4 p.m.
