How to Reclaim Your Pet:
If your pet has been brought in as a stray, follow these simple steps to bring them back home:
- Visit Us – Stop by our shelter to see if your pet is here. Bring identification with you, and be prepared to answer questions about your pet’s appearance, breed, and any distinguishing marks.
- Check Online – We regularly update our website and social media pages with photos and information about animals in our care. Make sure to check our lost and found section to see if your pet is listed.
- Pay Reclaim Fees – We ask for a nominal fee to help cover the costs of care, including food, medical treatment, and shelter while we look for your pet's family. The fees vary based on how long the pet has been in our care, but they help us continue to provide this essential service for lost animals.
- Provide Proof of Ownership – Once you’re reunited with your pet, we ask for proof of ownership (like a pet license or microchip number) to ensure they are going home with the right family.
